Hansika Motwani was born in Mumbai , India on August 9, 1991.She started her career as a child artist. She is presently completing her 9th standard education in Podar international school. Her mother is a dermatologist .Her parents were separated in the year 2004.
She entered the film industry in the movie Yahoo where she acted as a child artist with Juhi Chawla and Govinda.Later on she appeared in the Hyundai Santro ad with Shahrukh Khan. She got many offers after that.Her next biggest offer was from Rakesh Roshan for acting in the movie Koi mil gaya with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.
Along with acting in the movies she has also acted in many television ads with big companies like Samsung,Pepsi and Bournvita.
She made her debut in the movie Desamuduru , a telugu movie and was paid 50 Lakhs Rupees for that.She is playing the leading lady in the movie Aap Ka Surroor - The Moviee (2007).
